What floor cutting covers
Floor cutting — also called slab sawing or flat sawing — uses a diamond blade mounted to a wheeled saw frame to cut horizontal concrete or asphalt surfaces. It's the workhorse of road work, industrial floor modification, and slab removal.
Unlike walk-behind concrete saws sold at hardware stores, our ride-on and large walk-behind saws cut to 600mm depth, run all day on diesel or hydraulic power, and maintain straight lines over 100m+ runs.
Applications
- Trench cutting — utility runs, drainage, district cooling pipes
- Expansion joint cutting — new and remedial
- Slab removal — section-by-section for re-pour or post-tension repair
- Pavement repair — clean square cuts around damaged sections
- Industrial floor modification — equipment foundations, drainage falls
- Road resurfacing prep — milling boundary cuts, joint cleaning
